Metal Clay is an amazing material made up of 100% recycled silver particles, an organic plant based binder and water. This can be moulded, textured and shaped. The clay is then left to dry and fired with a jewellers torch (a creme brule torch will do!) and that’s when the magic happens. The metal particles form together, sinter, to make real hallmark quality silver. It’s a fantastic medium for making silver jewellery, really easy to continue from home with very few tools needed.
Whether you’re a beginner or have some metal clay experience and fancy trying out some new projects - you are going to enjoy this!
How it works
5 Days of Silver Metal Clay starts on Monday 24th February 2025. From Monday to Friday, a new project will be released and if you are following along with us live, I would love to see what you’re making. But don’t worry if you can’t get to it straight away - you will have lifetime access to the project once it’s released.

On this course you will learn key techniques used by silver clay jewellers including:
Rolling out the clay
Texturing
Setting a fireable stone and gold nugget
Sanding and refining your pieces to get a professional finish
Torch firing to sinter the metal
Polishing your pieces including mirror finish
and lots of tips and tricks!
The comprehensive toolkit and material list is ready for you to download when you enrol on this free course. Once each day is released you will have ongoing access. You can make a project a day over the 5 days or you can work on this course at your own pace, pick and choose your projects and enjoy your making!

This course is designed for complete beginners or those with some metal clay jewellery making experience as a creative challenge.
