Episode three of the Jewellers Retreat is now available to watch. This is day three and the final day of the retreat and the jewellers are challenged to make a piece of jewellery to showcase their signature style in just 5 hours. They can choose any type of piece this week. Will we have more broken tools or cracked gemstones? Watch now to find out.
what is the jewellers retreat?
I invited three Advanced Diploma students to my home for three days of jewellery making. Each day, the jewellers were challenged to make a different project with only a limited time available. They had an expert jeweller mentor available to ask for help and support and the show features lots of tips and tricks as well as some drama!

Kath made a pair of asymmetric earrings featuring a ruby and a pearl. The earrings are designed so they can be worn in multiple ways.

Tressa is a shoulder surgeon and took inspiration from the shape of the scapula, adding pave setting.
