Whether or not you actively celebrate Christmas yourself, there’s no denying it’s one of the busiest times of the year for small businesses. There are now just SIX weeks to go, and during this time jewellers will often bring in their highest profits of the year. But even if you’ve spent time preparing and making lots of lovely stock, how do you then market your jewellery and let everyone know about it? Whether your mailing list is big or small, these are people that have signed up to hear from you so it’s time they heard from you! With 6 weeks to go until Christmas, email them each week with a different topic e.g.

Stocking Filler Jewellery
24 Hours Left to Order Bespoke Items
2. Send a personal direct message
to everyone who has bought from you this year to check in and see if there is anything you can help with.
3. Post 5 times a week or more on social media
People are shopping now so it’s time to ramp up your posting and ensure you are at the front of your followers minds. At least one post every week must be a direct sales post with a clear call to action e.g. to buy this click here
4. Use black friday
Not to offer a discount but as a chance to talk about what you offer and why it is wonderful to buy handmade and to shop local.
5. Be obvious!
Make it really obvious what you’re selling everywhere - on your website, emails, socials, at events etc. So many people out there want your jewellery, you just need to have the courage to keep sharing it.
