September is here and so the thoughts of jewellers turn to Christmas! I’d love you to join the FREE jewellery photography challenge. Let’s take some lovely jewellery photos together and share them on Instagram to build connection and help prepare for a fabulous Christmas season.
Starting on Monday 16th September 2024 and running for 5 days, I will be sharing some prompts to help you have some fun with your photography. Whether you are brand new to taking photos or you’ve been doing it for years, now is a chance to share your pieces.
And I want to see them and share too so be sure to tag us in all your pics @jewellersacademy and use the hashtag #japhotochallenge

Day 1: Your Best Seller
Monday 16th September 2024
Share a picture of your best selling piece so far or one of the most popular ones that gets attention.
Day 2: A Matching Set
Tuesday 17th September 2024
2, 3, 4 or more pieces of jewellery that work well together. Show us what you’ve got.
Day 3: A Juicy Close-up
Wednesday 18th September 2024
We all know that these are the money shots, the ones that make customers want to click the buy-now button. Show us a nice big juicy closeup of your work.
Day 4: Playing with Light
Thursday 19th September 2024
Try something new today, perhaps playing around with shadow, contrast, light and dark or soft and airy. How does the light you use effect your jewellery photography?
Day 5: Piece I am Most Proud of
Friday 20th September 2024
Let’s finish the week on a high and share a piece you are proud of right now.
