Jewellery workshops worth travelling for

In case you missed it, Jessica Rose has recently opened our sister jewellery school called Jewellers Academy Brighton. It is located in the city of Brighton on the south coast of England. Teaching in-person workshops seven days a week, this state of the art jewellery training centre is ready and waiting to help you learn. If you are not local or even from the UK, why not take a look at travelling for an in-person workshop? We have lots of great opportunities to learn.

You might be thinking, but it’s too far to travel. Well, we already have two bookings for our Diploma course from students travelling from the USA and one from Vietnam. So if you have the time and want to visit England then this could be the perfect opportunity. And if you have a jewellery business, this counts as a business expense.

Brighton is very accessible by rail direct from London. If you are flying, London Gatwick is a great choice with a direct train from the terminal. With the budget airlines flying into Gatwick, you might find it’s more affordable than you think.

DIPLOMA IN SILVER JEWELLERY SUMMER INTENSIVE

Our 1 year Diploma in Silver Jewellery can be taken as an intensive 7 week course with Jewellers Academy Brighton this June.

If you would love to fast track your jewellery journey this is the one for you! Covering everything that is included in our Diploma course taught Monday to Friday for 7 weeks. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to truly immerse yourself in your jewellery education. Supported by our talented tutors and mentors, you will quickly move through beginners projects to make gold and gemstone jewellery. You will make pieces for assessment and feedback and this will form your portfolio to showcase your growing skill.

SILVER JEWELLERY INTENSIVE level 1

If 7 weeks is not feasible then what about 5 days? Our 5 day Silver Jewellery Intensive is designed to help you supercharge your jewellery making skills covering:

MASTERCLASS - TIARA WEDDING RING

Learn how to make a tiara wedding ring from goldsmith April Dace. In this 3 day intensive workshop you will learn how to create a stunning 5 claw tiara wedding ring.

When? Start date Thursday 2nd October to Saturday 4th October 2025.

Level: Advanced level

This is an advanced level course for jewellers who are confident at making a solitaire claw set ring from scratch. It's perfect for those looking to advance their skills and challenge themselves to make a beautiful and commercially popular wedding band. 

 
 

masterclass - halo set ring

In this one-off three day Masterclass you will be taught by master stonesetter Scott McIntyre. Spend 3 creative days learning to make a halo ring, complete with a central claw and pavé setting around the outside. 

When? Start date Wednesday 15th October to Friday 17th October 2025.

Level: Advanced level

This is an advanced level course for jewellers who have previously done claw settings, some pave setting and ring making and are looking to combine all these skills together in one complete piece.

PRIVATE TUITION

If you know you can travel on a particular date then why not get in touch to organise a private tuition. Designed by you to cover exactly what you want to learn, we will find a tutor to work with you. And with one to one support you can usually learn more quickly than in a class so you can often cover more ground. We are open 7 days a week so if you need a weekend, that’s no problem.
