Choose your word of the year for 2022
Blog
Do you like the idea of new years resolutions but find them a bit restrictive and struggle with sticking to them? Why not consider a word or theme for your year instead?
The concept is to choose one word that sums up what you want 2022 to be about for you. This is something you can come back to when you are making decisions to ensure that your focus fits in with the theme for your year.
How do i choose?
Think about your hopes and aims for 2022. It could be personally or it could be for your jewellery business (or both!)
Is there just one word or theme you can choose to sum this up?
Here are some words/ideas to get you thinking:

These are to get you started. Of course, you could pick something else!
It can be useful to look through the list of words above and see which resonate with you. Write down a shortlist of words and then leave it aside for a while and come back to it.
Then pick out one word and think about how it can relate to what you hope for in 2022. Often the right word will have a lot of different meanings for you and will be the obvious choice. If that’s not the case for you don’t worry! Let your unconscious mind have some time to process this and come back to your list later.
How to use your word
Once you have decided on your word write it down somewhere you can see it every day. You may even want to create a piece of art with it, buy a postcard with it on or make a piece of jewellery with it on.
In the busyness of day-to-day-life use the word as a touchstone - something to go back and look at regularly to ensure you’re on track and that what you are doing is moving you towards your goals.
