Blog
Applications for JewelFund 2022 are now open! Three £1000 grants are available. What would you spend the money on for your jewellery business? Find out how to apply
What is Jewel Fund?
Jewel Fund is £1000 grant for your jewellery business awarded by Jessica Rose of Jewellers Academy.
You do not have to pay it back, it is not a loan. It is a way for us at Jewellers Academy to support jewellers.
This year there will be three grants awarded of £1000 each. At least one of the grants will be awarded to a jeweller who identifies as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic.
We welcome applications from anywhere in the world from jewellers over the age of 16. In previous years we’ve had winners from the UK, New Zealand and Canada.
As well as the money you will also receive two one to one business coaching sessions from our founder, award-winning entrepreneur Jessica Rose to help you grow your business. You will also receive one year of membership of Jewellers Academy which includes all of our business courses, including the live Jewellery Business Bootcamp for 2023.
We will also be looking out for ‘too good to miss’ applications who will also get a year of annual membership of Jewellers Academy and one 1 to 1 mentoring session with Jessica Rose.
What can I spend the money on?
Anything that will improve your business and help you in the long-run. Some examples might include…
Jewellery tools or supplies
CAD work or outsourcing to create a new collection
A new website

Workspace rental
Training and mentoring (taking courses, investing in your training)

A portion of the funds can be used to pay yourself so that you can work on this instead of a job you don’t want to be in!
