Welcome to the jewellery making challenge for July!
What is the Jewellers Academy challenge?
Each month you will be challenged to make a different piece of jewellery and share it with us on Instagram and/or Facebook.
This month we are challenging you to make a trinket box.
This is a great project if you would like to practice your soldering skills. It can be made in copper or silver (or gold!) and you can embellish the lid or your box in any way you like.
How to join the challenge
Let people know that you are joining the challenge. This helps keep you accountable.
Make a trinket box - the design is up to you.
Photograph and share your piece. You can share it in our Facebook group or on Instagram with the hashtag #jewellersacademychallenge21 so that we see it. We will be sharing some of your work on our stories so keep an eye out for them
And that's it!
Here are some examples of gorgeous trinket boxes made by Jewellers Academy students to get you thinking
