About Emma

Emma is a jeweller, storyteller and teacher. Passionate about everything jewellery and ‘All That Glitters’, she designs and makes design-led artisan jewellery and also teaches other people to find their own creativity in her jewellery school, teaching adults to make jewellery using traditional skills.

Emma recently competed in the BBCs competition/talent show ALL THAT GLITTERS, reaching the final and winning both challenges there. As a guest on the show, Strictly’s head judge, Shirley Ballas, choose Emma’s ‘Raunchy Rumba Necklace’ to wear on Strictly, with a fabulous red jumpsuit in December 2021.

Emma’s work centres around stories, the stories of the wearer who can literally have their story stamped into ribbons and silver and wound into unusual artisan jewellery pieces, while imagery inspired by the stories that we weave around us, appears in feathers, hands and other symbolic pieces that all have a tale to tell. Emma’s latest designs are inspired by her favourite makes on All That Glitters.

Emma is the brains behind the online jewellery collective and destination shopping experience thejewellerymakers.co.uk, which sells distinctive design-led jewellery handmade from precious metals. Designed and made by a collective of artisan jewellers, The Jewellery Makers is a gallery/selling online site for stunning and special pieces of quality, handmade jewellery.

Emma has just opened a showroom alongside her workshop and teaching space to welcome customers to meet with her and see the collections in person.
