Here at Jewellers Academy we love a watch party - a chance to ‘get-together’ with likeminded people to watch a show and chat all things jewellery. So we have decided to start our own watch parties called Jewelflix! Find out more and join in the fun - popcorn optional.
What is a watch party?
For us, a watch party is when a whole group of like-minded people from around the globe hit play at the same time on the same show. We then chat in the comments of the video on youtube.
You may have joined us in the past for one of our watch parties - where we watched All That Glitters (think Great British Bake Off/Baking Show but for jewellers!). They were so fun and it was lovely to watch alongside you.
So, we’ve decided to start Jewelflix - a watch party for jewellers.

What are we watching?
Our first season of Jewelflix will run for four weeks starting on Monday 23rd January 2023. You can find out the dates and the details of what we are watching below:

This week we’re going back to watch the Jewellers Retreat - our very own TV show featuring three Diploma students. Each week they are set a challenge and a time limit to make an original piece of jewellery from scratch.
In episode 1 the jewellers make a necklace designed with someone they know in mind with support and tips from jeweller Stelios Karantonas

The Jewellers Retreat Episode 2
This week we are watching episode 2 of the Jewellers Retreat - our very own TV show featuring three Diploma students. Each week they are set a challenge and a time limit. In episode 2 the jewellers make an engagement ring and wedding ring set for an edgy couple. With support and tips from jeweller Hayley Kruger

The Jewellers Retreat Episode 3
Our final episode of Jewelflix for this season is episode 3 of the Jewellers Retreat - our very own TV show featuring three Diploma students. Each week they are set a challenge and a time limit. In episode 3 the jewellers were challenged to make a piece of jewellery showcasing their signature style and incorporating at least two metals with support and tips from jeweller Barbara Yarde.
